Games That Don't Exist But Need To: #1
Vampires Vs. Werewolves
Forget all this Aliens Vs. Predator Vs. Colonial Marines rubbish, we need a Werewolf game! And we need it bad. I got the bug after becoming Lycanthropic in Skyrim and feel the need for a proper fully fledged undead action adventure.
Basically think, the Underworld film series but as a game. Incorporate a dual narrative structure so you can play the game as a Vampire or Werewolf. Similar to the Autobot/Decepticon dual single-player stories of recent Transformers games. This kind of game would of course open itself up to a brilliant online component, with multiplayer battles between the two species, and perhaps the inclusion of human Vampire/Werewolf slayers, to add a third party to the mix.
With the long lifespan of the undead (if that makes any sense) the game could have multiple settings in multiple eras, starting in the middle-ages perhaps in like Transylvania or something, with silver tipped crossbows and wooden stake swords and stuff. Eventually progressing right up to the present day with sub-machine guns filled with silver bullets and UV Light Cannons on offer... I might be getting too excited for something that isn't real...
And if this is just too much work, why not release Underworld: The Eternal War as a PS2 Classic on the PSN Store. I never got a chance to give it a go ;)
