I think that this tops everything stupid that Gamestop has ever done.
Look, I personally have never had issues with Gamestop. I and everyone know all the memes about how little trade in they give, how the treat new games and consoles as new despite opening them, the constant asking about reward card and so on but I’ve never had these issues and think that some people complain about these because others do so why not jump on the wagon.
Anyway, I really do think that this has to be the absolute dumbest thing that Gamestop could do. And yes, I fully expect the group of folks that love NFTs to be like “You think it’s dumb because you don’t understand it” and I have a surface level understanding of them to come to the conclusion that this NFT and all of them are stupid. Hate me all you want.
