my husband came downstairs to ask me to make this almost as soon as he saw the headline about ebay rejecting gamestop's buyout attempt
Some GameStop locations still have the Halo 3 murals, which was a game released 18 years ago.

Detective Cirno cracked the case!
Your stores refused my trade-in. @gamestop
I've always hated the codes and newsletter distributions from Pokemon, they've always been impractical.
I've been signed up to the newsletter since, like, 2014. Never get it once. I've attempted other email addresses too. Still nope. Remember the shiny Celebi and Zarude distribution? I had to find an online giveaway for that.
I'm lucky enough to live near a GameStop, and was even luckier to be getting back to my town when it opened, but today was the Mega Evolution TCG release so there was already a pretty sizeable line that we had to wait thru. And not every fan is lucky enough to live within 15min of a Gamestop store, they might live more rurally, or might be in a country that doesn't even have the distribution. I've also heard (and this is unconfirmed) that some places were only given *50* code cards too for Koraidon and Miraidon.
Wi-Fi distributions like the Shiny Treasures of Ruin will always be the superior method, and I wish Pokemon would just do away with the others.
