Up until recently, I was never really happy with this drawing, as it was my first drawing of Nephilim Dante. Did it on paper because my drawing pad died, then I made some digital edits old school style, with a mouse if I remember correctly. Looking back, I'm kinda proud of it. Mostly because I think it captures my attempt to understand his face. I think it's clear I'm enjoying getting to know him as a character.
I had the same feelings about this drawing of 5 Dante but he's more popular and I got more likes and engagement with this piece. So I kinda shrugged it off that I wasn't where I wanted to be with him just yet. I think when you're working with a character who has a niche audience, it's easy to forget that not as many people are gonna be exposed to your art. That, and this one is digital. Only a few years ago, if it wasn't digital, people didn't seem as interested. Now because of AI, art on paper is all the rage again.
