❅ Frosty Little Pest || gamma--draconis
❅ Lent across an armchair by a large window of the Slytherin common room, Jack watched as light began to fade from the murky lake water surrounding them. The snow haired teen hoped the light sudden that wracked his body at the thought of such deep water--fearing what would become of them were the glass to one day shatter--had gone unnoticed by the other, as likely was the case with so few lingering to chat before bed.
Sleep would be a far off task for the mischievous seventh year, however. Turning so that his gaze no longer landed upon the water, his legs dangling over the arm of the chair, Jack scanned the room before focusing in on Draco some distance away. Reaching to retrieve his wand from his pocket, silently the Slytherin conjured a small collection of snowflakes and sent them floating across the room until the began to rain down on the blonde. Once his attention was caught, a light smirk touched at the corners of Jack's lips. ❅
"Not going to sit there brooding all night, are you?"
