I’m dying. I randomly logged in here for the first time in forever and found someone has blown up my old mini promo post. That post is from July 2014, I haven’t even posted here in 2 years. Who decided it would be a good idea to blog that promo up now? Does nobody check these things when a blog is inactive? X’D

“Pardon moi Monsieur, I didn’t want to annoy you.. I was simply concerned” Belle said immediately. “Of course not and that’s not a bad thing at all, especially when there’s snow everywhere instead.”

With an inaudible sigh, Jack gave a small shake of his head, running his hand through his hair. Of course those who were older and could see him would worry over the sickly shade of his skin. He really should be less irritable by now. “It’s fine, don’t worry about him.”
“Amazing, then!” The fae exclaimed, quite happy now that she had some company. Yes, frosting was fun, but it was way more fun with someone besides her. ”You know? It’s a little bit sad that srping’s almost here.”

Hearing her sense of sadness at the end of the season, Jack had to admit he was feeling about the same. Although it simply meant he’d move onto another part of the world, there was a certain reluctance to do so. “Gotta have some fun while it lasts then,” he said, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips.

“Sure,” Jack answered with a soft laugh, mimicking her actions with a flick of his fingers. Sure, it was nearing spring, but to hell with the seasons. A little frost would do no harm.
She struggled desperately against her own guards, surprised by the grip they had on her. She had been anticipating an afternoon with her friend. Jack had grown important to Elsa over their brief friendship for she felt lighter around him, as if a weight was lifted from her shoulders. The Queen had thought they had been subtle enough that they could have gone unnoticed but she had been incorrect. Sure, there had been whispers - but why did they care so much about the whimsy of a young woman on her time off? Horrified and hurt by the betrayal, she momentarily struggled and called out in pain as the guard holding her tightened his grip and hissed in her ear to remind her that this was for her protection. She watched mourfully as Jack took up the staff he carried around with him and glanced at the other men for a few horrified moments. No-he couldn’t fight. Surely they wouldn’t kill him right there before her?
❝ I swear on the power of my crown if you kill him you will all be hanged! ❞ Elsa snarled as the men advanced - but they still advanced, determined to carry out the will of their orders. They would take him into custody, rip him away from their Queen and his dalliances with the throne because that was their duty as her guards - they’d been as good as told so. ❝ Jack-Please, be careful. ❞ She had almost managed to wiggle free and then a thin wrist and outstretched hand shot towards him, desperately reaching out for the friend who’d brought the only light she’d experienced. How could she lose him so soon? Her fingers itched with magic, itched to fight away the guards and yet she knew she couldn’t do that; that she couldn’t use her powers to harm anyone again.

Of course Jack knew all of his attempts would be in vain. Where the guards had been trained likely for years to protect their Queen, the only training he had was in wrangling a rampant animal when it was loose and startled. By no means did it prepare him for what was to come in just a matter of moments. In truth, he should have expected as much. In no world could he stand by the Queen unnoticed for more than a moment. Jack simply wasn’t worthy.
Fear beginning to bundle in the pit of his stomach, Jack took a deep breath, his grip so tight on his staff the white of his bones could be seen through his skin. Nonetheless, he stood tall. Even now, it would be improper to show his weakness in front of Elsa.
Jack liked to think himself capable of properly defending himself, but that could not be said with an uneven fight. Just as the farm hand managed to avoid the attack of one, blocking a sword with his staff, another was ready to pounce. Rarely did he get a chance to catch his breath; at this rate neither he nor his staff would last long.
Then it came, the sudden crack of wood reverberating off of the stone walls as the staff splintered in his grip, causing the boy to freeze in his spot. With just another swing of a sword, Jack’s defenses were broken in two and the world around him began to slow down and race all at once. That is, until all went blank, his world overcome with red and a white hot pain reaching to his core.
It’s just a matter of time when you live forever. One day they were all going to fall into dark shadows that eat away at them, morphing them to something more savage and primal. Things made of nightmares. No one can be jolly and good forever. She’s just helping move things along.
Looks like her enthusiasm was infectious. Good. “Oh maybe a good old Jack attack. Find some poor loser who is in the wrong place, wrong time… Make him sing for us. That sort of thing~.”

“Sounds like a plan,” said the spirit, the smirk playing on his lips far to sinister for one of his nature. Though he had to admit, it was always a pleasure with Larxene. Where Jack himself could be rather hasty, overly eager to reach the messy grand finale, the blonde knew just how to have the most fun, toying with her victims until they broke.

“——Are you sure you’re okay? Your skin is so pale.”

“I’m fine,” he said with a light groan and a roll of his eyes, “not a whole lot of sun in winter, is there?”
“Darkness. That’s the f i r s t thing I remember. It was dark, it was cold and I was scared. But then…then I saw the m o o n .”
“I was happy and proud to be your father. The l a s t thing I can do for you is to take you out of this place. I was born of your dreams. If you believe in me, there is n o t h i n g I cannot do”
“If the subject f a i l s to respond, use aggression to liberate his true disposition. Right. Did they send the wrong guy for t h i s one…”

The glass was much emptier than she remembered it being. She hadn’t even realisd she’d been sipping at it as he spoke, almost entranced by the motions and the mannerisms that were so different than the way he was on stage. She had admired him as an artist, could go so far as to call herself a fan - though not a fanatic, thankfully - but this was a different person sitting in front of her, telling her things about the industry that she had so desperately wanted to be a part of. She needed an agent, she needed someone she could trust to make sure her deals weren’t throwing everything she was and everything she wanted to be under a bus. She wanted to be famous for the songs she wrote and she wanted to be an inspiration to someone else but in that moment she also wanted to be a comfort to the man before her. So damaged and jaded, she wanted to see a light in him that she hadn’t the entire day they’d spent together. Her drink was finished before she realised and he was much closer than she remembered. And his lips were turned upwards in the way she realised was the reason for his fans. ❝ And if you get something out of the comfort all the better, no? ❞ The words were a surprise even from her own lips, and bright blue eyes closed as he tucked aside a strand of platinum hair. ❝ I shouldn’t-we shouldn’t, ❞ All very distracted thoughts, considering how close he was and how easily she could kiss him. ❝ But- ❞ But she really, really wanted to.

An artist he was, in more than one sense of the word. On the stage Jackson could sing and dance to his heart’s content. However, over the years he had become just as much of an artist even in his private life, becoming an actor of sorts, toying with himself and others to attain his goals. Cruel and manipulative some may say, but the singer could hardly care to hear such opinions.
Watching as surprise washed over Elsa’s features and finding her instant reaction was not to force his hand away, the singer pressed on. Even when platinum hair came to an end, Jackson trailed feather light and chilly fingertips down her cheek, followed by the length of her neck. It was all part of his plan. Giver her a taste of his gentle touch, a slight pull of a low, seductive voice; in no time the woman would be wrapped around his little finger. Elsa was by no means the first to fall victim to him, though at least she would get something from it too.
Leaning in ever closer still, Jackson veered to the side, just a mere inch from her ear. “And why shouldn’t we?” He questioned in an airy voice, breath dancing along her skin. Of course, if determined, the star would not force her, though it was evident Elsa was not resolute in her claim. “There’s nothing wrong with letting loose and having a little fun every now and then.”
Guiding her movements, the blonde took the glass from the woman’s hold and set it aside. He wanted her full attention. Then, as if to illustrate his point, Jackson began placing soft kisses against Elsa’s neck before purring into her ear once more. “Have some fun with me, Elsa?”
His smirk was catching and infectious and Elsa felt her cheeks heat up and her heart race in her chest the closer he got. ❝ I think I know very well the spirit that goes out winning the hearts of little girls. Drawing snowflakes in their hair and nipping at their noses, ❞ She chimed simply as the snowflakes fluttered past her and she allowed them to weave between her own fingertips before they disappeared. ❝ You’re right. I’m not particularly fond of sharing, ❞ She agreed, glancing down as he winked in order to conceal the fierce blush that appeared in her cheeks. Almost shyly she glanced up through her eyelashes only to find that he’d drawn much nearer. The back of a single finger reached up to brush over his cheek as if to test he was real before she forced herself off the doorframe and met his lips very briefly with her own. ❝ Should I be keeping track of these hearts you’re breaking? Should I be putting a lock on my own? ❞

Smiling as he wandered over, Jack gave a light chuckle at her words. He couldn’t deny it. Though some may call it cruel to toy with young girls like that, the winter sprite simply intended to bring them a touch of joy, to bring them something special if only for a moment. It was his job to bring them fun after all and never did them seem to have more fun than when he took part also.
Seeing the Queen’s cheeks blossom pink, the sprite’s smile grew wider and subconsciously lent into her touch as she brushed his cheek. “Didn’t think you would,” Jack muttered softly as he lent in to meet her lips, hands slipping to loosely wrap around her waist. “Now, there’s no need for that. Though I dare say it’s too late to keep me out of yours, but luckily for you, I fully intend to keep it intact.”
Matilda let out a surprised gasp as she turned her head up to the sky. Her surprised look turned into a smile when she saw the flurries falling down from the sky. Her gaze turned back to the boy in front of her and she tilted her head slightly, lowering her voice. “Did you…do that?”

Watching intently with pride as surprise and delight crossed over the child’s features, the sprite’s grin grew two fold at her question. “You catch on quick, kiddo.” Although all children found fun in his snow, by no means were all able to attribute it to him and so it was always a joy to find those who could.
How did they even get in this mess? He’s the spirit of fun. As in, pure, happy fun. Not awful, suffering fun. Must of been her charms that got him. It’s always a delight to corrupt what once was pure and good. She grinned to match his smirk and wagged a finger at him. "I’m talkin’ real fun. Not throwing snowballs at unsuspecting victims or making them slip on ice.”
Oh he should know that look. That itch settling into her fingers. Oh it’s gonna be a bloody riot.

Although once pure, hundreds upon hundreds of years had worn down the spirit, corrupting and tainting until all that which remained was but a shadow of his former self. As of late, Larxene had been but a catalyst, prompting his true colours to show, releasing the demon that lay in wake.
Watching as the blonde itched with sadistic joy, a smirk wormed its way onto Jack’s features. “Oh, I am well aware. So, what did you have in mind?” Oh, how he reveled in her plans.
