  নিজস্ব সংবাদদাতা : দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুরের গঙ্গারামপুরে দুই বিজেপি মহিলা কর্মীকে মারধর ও হেনস্থা করার ঘটনায় পলাতক তৃণমূল উপপ্রধান অমল সরকারকে আজ গ্রেফতার করেছে পুলিশ। রাস্তা তৈরির জন্য জোর করে এক বিজেপি স্কুল শিক্ষকা দড়ি দিয়ে বেঁধে টানতে টানতে নিয়ে যায়। তাঁর দিদিকে বেধড়ক মারধর করে একদল তৃণমূল সমর্থক। দুই মহিলার জমি জোর করে জবর দখল করে রাস্তা তৈরির জন্য ট্রাক্টর এনে অমল সরকারের নির্দেশে হামলা করা হয় বলে অভিযোগ। মারধরের ঘটনার ভিডিও ভাইরাল হয় সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায়। সরকারি দলের নেতা হওয়ায় পুলিশ গত কয়েক দিন চোখ বুজিয়ে থাকে। পুলিশের ভূমিকার সমালোচনা হয় এবং দল বিপাকে পড়ে। এই অবস্থায় আজ মালদার বামনগোলায় তাকে একটি বাস থেকে গ্রেফতার করে পুলিশ। আদালতে উপস্থিত করা হলে তাকে ১৪ দিন পুলিশ হেফাজতে রাখার নির্দেশ দেয় বিচারক।
