TADC THEORY!!!
This one is about Gangle because her… everything is very commonly debated.
But everything I’ve seen so far is bipolar disorder and such, and while it is plausible, I have reason to believe otherwise.
Because after watching Episode Four I realised that among my friends I was the only one who really liked that ep. And it’s because I realised I related.
I believe that Gangle had ADHD and Depression.
Now hear me out
Personally when I watched this episode I was in the process of weaning myself off of an ADHD medication that felt good, felt “normal, but in a good way” at the start. But then I began to feel different.
I felt like I was wearing a mask that was turning me into a different person.
Sure I was more enthusiastic sometimes, and I could hyper focus plenty. But it only amped up my depression and anxiety and I had zero of my usual coping mechanisms because I felt like I was in someone else’s body and mind.
I felt uncomfortable and scrambled and I would have thrown that mask away too Gangle.
My point is that Gangle is most likely neurodivergent and became depressed after realising that her dreams weren’t a reality. She most likely started taking medication to get her through her job but the “mask” factor was what gave her the mask in TADC.
Not to mention Masking in a neurodivergent person. And also when you are starting to cope with your depression often you put on a ‘mask’ to others.
And lastly. You don’t get ‘cured’ from depression. You grow with it.
Gangle smiling with her sad mask is her getting better without masking nor medication. She’s still got depression but she’s just suffering less.
Go Gangle 🫶
