fearful, you couldn't sleep from the random rummaging that came from the outside of your house. your parents weren't around due to business trip whatever.
you know yourself a scaredy-cat so why would you check it out? you fear the dark that's why your little pastel lamp is always turned on at night. you hate being alone in a domicile despite your age.
your thick blanket was wrapped around your body as if it's a shield and only the shape of your face could be seen.
suddenly, you heard someone's voice. aggressive and sounds irritated. however, that tone somehow is familiar to you, but you're too scared to think of anyone from that moment and continued pretending to sleep (yet shaking slightly).
"ms. y/l/n-" his word was cut off when you screamed loud and throwing him a heavy pillow which landed directly on his stomach, "ouch that hurts" the guy sarcastically reacted and stepped forward towards you with normal pace.
when you heard the voice, you immediately opened your tightly shut eyes, gasped softly, and jumped from your bed like a grasshopper.
with a big smile, you jumped on his arms twirling in the process. "hyuck! you're here" you almost cried overwhelmed at his sudden appearance from disappearing for fucking 3 days saying that 'they have a family reunion happening in jeju, his hometown'.
but no, donghyuck was actually on a road(?) trip with his gang "dream", leaving their girlfriends alone with the white lies just to bond again.
"you were gone for days hyuckie and my parents left since yesterday for business trip, i was alone" you mumbled on his clothed chest where his heart you tamed was beating.
he cooed at you and pulled you into your bed, you on top of him with hands intertwined as of not wanting each other to let go. his leather jacket not being able to warm up his flaming love for you.
"why didn't you call up your cousin hanni? she could've accompanied your lonely life" donghyuck chuckled lightly at the offense he said and you raised your head to deadpan on him, pinching his side as you did so making him exclaim a cute 'ah!'.
"she have to study for her entrance exam for college while i still have to study the last quarter exam for eleventh grade argh..." you grumbled a bit as you shook your head.
donghyuck caressed your back continuously, calming you, giving you the warmth and protection you deserve. second by second, you felt sleepy from his action. you nuzzled your head to his neck inhaling his peony, rose, and lychee scent.
and so, you fell asleep with donghyuck's arms wrapped around you and your blanket covering both your lower bodies.
