Lacquered Bracket / Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum)
This is an absolutely beautiful bulbous young reishi, showing vibrant bands of red and orange which will persist as it matures and flattens. Though I don’t gather it myself, other people make it into teas and tinctures, with various different medical properties claimed, and many consider it an excellent find.
