On one of my last days in Japan I did what I had been wanting to do for the two years I was there. Getting to Dotonbori before it’s filled with people isn’t easy.  Though I did get to see all the hosts and hostesses going home from work.

There must have been a lot of construction going on on the river when they took reference pictures for the manga because some areas (especially the bridge) look completely different.
