So what if they, like pallas's cats, also stood on their tails to keep their talons warm? 🥺

Or used their tails like how snow leopards sometimes nom on them to play or for comfort (especially as babies)?

The yawns are coming back!

I'm working towards reopening the Yawn Shop after what turned out to be an almost two year break. I've already started working on some new genes, but as a nice way to kick myself back into gear with these little guys I'm giving away some free adopts to folks on tumblr!

Rules:

Reblog with ONE dragon of yours, please include both an image and a link. (as a bonus tell me something about them just because it's fun!)

The dragon has to be one of the available breeds: Coatl, Wildclaw, Imperial, Spiral, Veilspun, Gaoler or Pearlcatcher.

Any genes are ok! I might or might not draw apparel and accents, that's up to me.

This is NOT first come first serve or a random raffle - I will pick dragons that inspire me. There will be one freebie per base, so seven total. I'll try to update the original post along the way to let everyone know how it's going.

Its really funny being inactive on fr most of the summer and then getting back into it the moment school starts up again. Sorry professor can you repeat your question I was looking at dragons again

The smallest of her pack.

Finished a test color for the adopt base using a dragon of mine Eurwen! :) She doesn’t have any lore yet so she was a great blank-slate to work out color this base. I definitely see Gaolers as more lion-esque in body-type and I can imagine that their manes can be unique depending on heritage, climate, and styling choices. Next up will be exploring those differences (probably going to start with bust drawings). If you are interested in a Gaoler drawn this way feel free to message me here or on Flight Rising directly! Will price depending on genes/complexity of character, the addition of apparel or skin/accents etc.

Very pleased with this one. My new favorite brush is Kyle's Classic Cartoonist Brush Tool using Adobe Photoshop. It has just enough grit to maintain a texture close to my original sketch and a very smooth application.

Day 11: Gardener

My gaolers have been so overrepresented so far, I don’t have that many! But they are fun to draw. Bloom is a Natureflight gardener, nothing more to say about him, I haven’t written him lore yet.
