The show version of Cadmus Pryde for whatever reason-- maybe just his design or his performance-- I don't know but some element about him genuinely turns my stomach. No hate or accusations are going to the voice actor or anyone at all!!!! I just get creep or predator vibes off of the show version of the character specifically. The book version doesn't give off creep vibes in any way shape or form. Anyone else?
I was rewatching Season 3 (just had it on in the background) and some scenes with him and the Evas genuinely started to make me sick I can't describe it. Am I crazy?
Does anyone else think that Verdania was cursed because of the slaying of the Pale Stag? Like it's implied to be a Pale Being (or at least very important in a mystical sort of way). That has to have some consequences.
No because what if the Pale Stag being there had sort of "claimed" Verdania (possibly created it) and in some way thus protected it from GMS taking it for herself? Then the Princes slay it and now Verdania is unprotected from GMS saying "it's free real estate" and taking it for herself? Is that too far fetched or am I over-caffeinated?

Team Cherry are actually a bunch of sadists. Actually. I'm at the near end of the mushroom quest and I'm at my wit's end. This is just straight up torture. Not worth it.
Beat Tormented Trobbio, Seth, and Nyleth. Also beat Skarrsinger Karmelita. Trying to get the krust heart now but enraged Conchfly has something to say about that

● Fyre's relationship with her parents is complicated. While she loves them dearly and they love her. They put an enormous amount of pressure on her so she's ready to take over the throne. This means constantly having her studying, frequently criticising her when they think she's stepped out of line, and rarely allowing her to spend much free time on hobbies and even her siblings
● Despite not spending much time with one another. Fyre still desperately tries to spend as much time as she can with her younger siblings. A part of her is jealous that they don't have to deal with the responsibilities she has to, but she keeps reminding herself that they are not the reason why her parents treat her the way they do
● However, when Fyre was of age. Her parents had informed her that she had been betrothed to the prince of the Scorpion kingdom as a way to unite both kingdoms. That was the final straw that caused her to run away from home
● Nowadays she wanders around the land avoiding those who are searching for her
● When angry, her abdomen glows and her wings flare out. The anger she is, the brighter her abdomen glows
● Because of her upbringing, she's a bit naive when it comes to the outside world. Especially when it comes to money
● May or may not ship them with The Hollow Knight for an AU idea but we'll have to wait and see 👀

Redimus is the type of parent that would stay up at night with the baby/babies. Not necessarily because
Terradora was woken up by the sound of squeaking. Usually, the Burrowing Dorcean hated it whenever something or someone disturbed her sleep, especially with all the hell she had gone through in the past few hours. But she knew what that sound was. It wasn't her mother waking her up because she had overslept, or Redimus's loud snoring
It was one of her cubs calling out to her
The new mother slowly blinked her eyes open, trying to fight through the still lingering tiredness from giving birth. That's when she noticed that her mate wasn't sleeping beside her. Tilting her head, she looked for any sign of where Redimus had gone off to. That's when she noticed him
Redimus was standing beside the egg-shaped cradle beside the makeshift bed that had been made in a hurry, having yet to notice her. One of his arms rested on the rim as he looked down into the crib. He was trying to softly shush their cubs, who were now all squeaking and clearly awake
"I knew something was off when your snoring didn't wake me," Terradora whispered, her voice rough from sleep
Redimus jumped slightly and looked up from the crib. That was when she noticed the bags under his eyes. How long had he been awake for?
"Terra?" Redimus stammered, a look of guilt and embarrassment starting to appear on his face. "I'm sorry I woke you. You should be resting."
"And let my babies squeak away? You're joking." Terradora chuckled as she pushed herself up and then held out her arms. "Besides, they're probably hungry and that's why there fussy."
Sighing, Redimus carefully reached down to the cradle. Carefully he scooped up each of the cubs with 3 of his hands. For being only a few hours old and having their eyes still shut, they were quite active with how much they were wiggling in his hands. Carefully he brought them over to their mother
Terradora carefully took them into her hands one at a time. Giving them each a gentle nuzzle before placing them into her pouch. Corrigan and Roshank went in just fine. But when she tried picking up Trodimus, he squeaked loudly
"Oh! Someone is impatient aren't they?" She chuckled, watching him squirm in her arms before placing him into her pouch with his brother and sister as they started nursing, trying to find the best spot. You wouldn't think just hours ago his parents thought their youngest didn't make it with how
"Just like his uncle." Redimus chuckles as he watches Terradora place a hand over her pouch as he sits back beside her. Even with how tired Terradora was after the birth, he could see her glowing with love and pride
"So...." Terradora started. "Wanna share why you're up so late?"
Redimus looked away, rubbing the back of his neck. "I just...I wanted to make sure the cubs were alright. Trodimus especially."
"Yeah. Not even a day old and they are already making us worry. But the healer said that they're healthy." Terradora reassured him, holding his claw. "They're here. And they're alive"
Redimus nodded, his thumb rubbing the back of her hand in a comforting manner. "I know....but when Trodimus came out and wasn't breathing-"
"Well, you heard him just there," Terradora responded. "He may be tiny, but he already is a fighter."
Redimus looked down, giving her hand a gentle squeeze as he thinks
"Is there something else on your mind?" Terradora asked concerned as she sat up to look at him
"It's just.....what if I'm a bad father to them?" Redimus finally asked as he looked up at her with worry and fear
"Reddie...." Terradora started, her claw reaching out to touch his scarred face. "You're still thinking about that?"
"I-I know you and the others keep telling me not to worry about it. But I'm scared. I'm scared that I'll end up just like Sire, and our cubs will end up like my brother and me. And I know it's selfish to still think that after everything you've just gone through. But I don't want to fail you four." Redimus admitted quietly, looking down at the ground
"You kidding?" Terradora whispered in disbelief. "You've already shown yourself to be a better father in the past few hours when yours ever could in his lifetime."
Before Redimus could say something else, the moment was broken by a chorus of squeaking from Terradora's pouch
"See? Even they agree." She chuckled, taking them out of her pouch once they started fussing
Redimus smiled a little seeing her holding their cubs. That's when he felt Terradora pulled him closer to her and pulled him into a loving embrace with her free arm
"I know you didn't have an easy life growing up. But don't ever compare yourself to that man. These past few months have already showed my that you're gonna be the best father any Dorcean could wish for." She reassured him, her hand stroking the back of his fur in a comforting manner. Soon she started humming to the cubs, hoping that would get them back to sleep
Redimus let out a deep sigh. His head rested on her shoulder as he stared at their cubs and listened to Terradora's humming. He watched them let out tiny yawns and get comfortable on their mother's chest. Carefully, he reached out a claw to gingerly caress each of them on the cheek
"And I know they couldn't have gotten a better mother." He finally whispered, smiling as he watched the three of them snuggle next to one another
