Jax feels too much all the time
Jax has always had emotional regulation issues for as long as he can remember. It's part of why he puts on that mask. He thinks that this is just how people deal with their emotions, yet that mask just keeps falling off and shattering into a million pieces. It's like Gangle's but worse. When it shatters, he explodes, but not always in the same way. Sometimes, it's rage like in episode 6, other times it's genuine terror, sometimes it's uncontrollable sobbing. Either way, it's vulerability and he thinks people aren't allowed to be vulnerable, least of all him.
He feels emotions so deeply all the time and they're so overwhelming and they change so frequently, but he thinks emotional supression is the best way to handle it since he thinks that's what everyone does. It's terrifying for him, really. He's just so upset all the time. His emotions feel like they're massive waves that just keep coming at him one after another. He's the current is too strong and he doesn't know how to swim. He's drowning.
