These past 3 days was the Obon festival in Japan, and hence the official SAKAMOTO's STORE page on X has shared Suzuki-sensei's first three one-shots he had published prior to SAKAMOTO DAYS serialization.
If anyone wishes to read them in English, i can only share the fan-translations that can be found on Mangadex since there have been no official translations til date. Enjoy your read!

OJT EATS | Soup Curry GARAKU
Our next stop on our trip around Japan was Sapporo. We were told that in the cold, which Sapporo often is, two things that we should definitely try are the miso ramen and soup curry. After a little bit of googling, we decided that we'd try soup curry first and at Soup Curry Garaku.
We hadn't quite realised how popular this place was as when we turned up there was a small crowd of people at the door already. We ended up going downstairs and picking up a ticket and was told that it would be about 90 mins to 2 hours before we'd get a table! Luckily, we weren't too hungry at the time and had the patience to wait.
We finally made it in and ordered our soup curries. It was the first time we'd had soup curry and we were pretty impressed. We are big fans of Japanese curry in general and this was essentially a soupier version of it. The photo above was of the classic chicken thigh with vegetables. The curry soup was super deep in flavour and had a really nice spice to it. The chicken was fall apart tender and the vegetables were perfectly cooked.
This bowl was the pork sausage with smoked bacon and cheese. The sausage had a lovely smokiness to it and a great snap to the casing. The cheese on top was also a very tasty addition.
Speaking of cheese, having a blowtorched slice of it on our rice turned out to be genius. It also came with a slice of lemon which went surprisingly well with the rice and the cheese.
This was a delicious meal but I have to admit, I'm not sure it was quite worth the almost two hour wait. I'm not sure if it would be better on a weekday lunchtime instead but if it is, I'd definitely recommend going then. It's a perfect meal for a cold winter's day as it's amazingly warming and almost perfect comfort food.
