Buggertupober Day 8 - Fireflies
day late but oh well there are no rules. Started doing this as a warmup but I liked it so kept going, it's a little illustration of my fic also called Fireflies (which I did not remember I had when I made the list lol)

12. What first changes when it starts getting serious?
I feel like the whole saving each others’ lives thing means it starts off pretty serious, but more specifically I feel like they’d both stop being so afraid of getting it wrong, or more like they allow themselves to make mistakes without instant fear they’re irrevocably messed up.
23. Where is their favourite place to be together?
Sat in bed! Knotty reading of course, and Will snuggled against him. I think he’d be like a dog, occasionally putting his head in the way of the page when he wants more attention.
I love Modern AU Will's rainbow shoes and at some point he definitely flounted work uniform code by wearing them to the café so he could casually lean/sit on things and wait for Knotty to comment on them, when he didn't the attempts got less subtle until culminating in him going "hey vincent check these out!!" and slamming his leg onto the coffee table to show them off.
Knotty had noticed, but thought he'd just forgotten to change into work shoes and hadn't wanted to say anything as not to get him in trouble.
Date with the Hangman - Will/Vincent Multichapter - Read it Here
Before the scary police lady put him back in jail, Will had just enough time to secure the kind of date with the hangman he'd really wanted. Now he's out, he needs to pull off the perfect first date before Vincent leaves Widdershins again.
Only two problems: 1. He has no idea what he's doing. 2. One night's adventure is no guarantee of compatibility in real life.
With time ticking on and his life still shaken from the past few weeks, Will must prove he's the person Vincent thinks he is, or risk disappointing the one person he really doesn't want to.
(There will be 6 chapters, updating Thursday and Monday nights UK time and it’s expected to be between 17k - 19k when edits are done. This is the one I’m really excited about so I hope you guys enjoy!)
