I would've hated to be someone who gave their statement to Gertrude.

Imagine you're reliving one of the most horrific experiences of your life and then there's just an old lady in the corner staring straight into your soul with a look of pity and bored annoyance. Like you're a movie she'd already watched. I'd probably start crying.
