Dr. Spuds "The Day Riverdale Turned Green"

A cover switch, a story dropped. Curious thing on this issue -- at this time period where reprints were not appearing in these comics, an eleven page "Life With Archie" story from 1982 gets reprinted. I see no evidence that "The Day Riverdale Turned Green" about a dastardly Dr. Spuds ever saw publication.

There was a Potato Monster story on Archie's Weird Mysteries, but that clearly heads a different direction -- not speaking.
