I actually think this is a pretty cool idea for a Star Fox story. Star Wolf attacks the Great Fox early in the morning while Fox and the others are asleep in an effort to take them out once and for all. Maybe the team struggles because of how sudden the assault was?

It'd make for good fan fiction. But I'm an artist first and a writer second. But sometimes, I think it could be the other way around...

New Category In Nonogram Buster

A new set of puzzles is available in Nonogram Buster!

I opened up a new puzzle category in Nonogram Buster. This one deals with different things related to mathematics. I wanted to include equations. But I thought that would have been too basic. (The numbers and characters also couldn't fit on the same board without becoming illegible.)

There's a lot of other math-based concepts and tools to be found here! There's only 3 puzzles at the moment. But I'll add more once I come up with more puzzle designs.

They just uploaded all the episodes of Pokémon Advanced (Advanced Generation) to the Pokémon TV YouTube channel. I always had a soft spot for this era, but I could never watch the seasons officially outside of DVDs. Now that the seasons are on YouTube, more people (and especially younger audiences who didn't get to watch these episodes) can watch them easily.

These episodes aren't without their issues, however. They removed the Who's That Pokémon and Trainer's Choice segments, making the episodes a bit shorter. I get that it wouldn't make sense to have them when there aren't any commercial breaks. But this makes the episodes incomplete since they're missing something that was always included in all the physical releases.

Even if these episode uploads are missing a few things, that shouldn't discourage you from watching them. They also uploaded all the episodes from Pokémon Battle Frontier. I still think it's odd they didn't upload the Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon special. But since it's a one-off special, I don't mind its exclusion. (Even with it, it's still jarring to see and hear the point where the old voice actors were swapped out with the modern ones.)

The auction for this character has ended, and they are now owned by the winner. This was actually the first character adopt that I drew on paper before digitizing it. Considering how well this auction went, I wouldn't mind trying it out again for better options. I think the characters' wardrobe should look more appealing, though...

If only...

Sadly, she never did because Nintendo didn't want to continue with the new canon they created 11 years ago. Maybe if Star Fox Zero was re-released for the Nintendo Switch and the fans actually liked it, then we would've gotten a sequel that re-introduced Krystal to the franchise. Maybe she'll come back with this new reboot.

I still think Nintendo was in the wrong to drop Star Fox after 2017-2018. You release 3 games in this new universe (yes, I'm counting Starlink as a game in the Zero continuity) only to not expand on it? I think that's just as bad as not getting a new game. I kind of have a personal bias towards Zero since that and Guard (mostly Guard) were what rekindled my love for Star Fox.

I like this outfit for Krystal. It keeps her warrior look while also making her more adventurous. It also makes her look wise, which is fitting because of her mystical nature.

I like her. I like her a lot. She's the absolute coolest!

I've seen people hate Krystal's original outfit, but I really like it. It makes her look like a mystical warrior from a far-off land. I always thought it made her look cool and distinct from all the sci-fi stuff present in Star Fox.

Nintendo Dream Star Fox Short 1

Fox and the gang take part in a retelling of the folktale, Momotaro the Peach Boy.

Last year, I came across a short Star Fox manga on Reddit that originated from an issue of Nintendo Dream magazine. The post where I discovered the manga already had it translated. After reading it, however, I discovered it was lazily done using an AI translation tool. Since I hate AI and thought the original translation was poorly made, I decided to visit the source listed in the same post and translate the pages myself.

This was supposed to be finished a year ago. But the program I was editing it in glitched out just when I was almost done translating the second page. I was a little too bummed after that to continue. (I also had to focus on school and my personal work) It wasn't until last month that I found the drive to complete the translation.

The story itself is pretty funny. It's amazing how things get so far from the source material. Fox also makes for a competent middleman, as we see him try his best to get to the end of this story alongside the weirdos that tag along with him. The gag about Bowser being the director of this messed-up version of the story is way funnier than it needed to be based on execution alone.

I've always loved Farewell, Beloved Falco. So seeing the creator's other work with Star Fox was a real treat for me. There were apparently more stories the artist made.

I remember seeing the superhero story on Reddit as well. But it was also poorly translated with AI. I'd translate that one too. But I can't find the post containing it anywhere on Reddit. (That also applies to the post where I found this manga.)

TRANSLATOR'S NOTES

There are a lot of messages from Nakaue that are written at the bottom of each page.

I don't get that last one at all. From reading these, it looks like Nintendo were pretty strict when it came to how the characters were portrayed. I'm not sure what that last line is about.

The last panel states that there would be something concerning Earthbound (MOTHER) in the next issue. Considering the text, It's probably just a short gag with Earthbound. It might not have anything to do MOTHER 3. So lower your expectations.

After self-shipping with Krystal, it was only obvious for me to go a step further and make a self-insert Star Fox OC.

He's Star Fox's newest recruit. An avid fan of aviation and the sky who can sense his opponents' moves and strike before they even have the chance to fire. Despite his flying skills and enhanced abilities in dogfights, he has poor self-esteem and keeps to himself. He manages to become close friends with Krystal, and the two regularly communicate with each other through Krystal's telepathic abilities. As time goes on, the two start to become more than just friends.

I said I wanted my potential OC to be a fox. But I decided to be self-indulgent and make him a cat. He's a year younger than Krystal and is probably shorter than Fox. I haven't come up with a name for him yet. But I've been thinking about giving him the surname Pulitzer.

The second doodle is supposed to be the character and Krystal relaxing together on Fortuna. He loves high-tech places like Corneria, but there's something about natural and tropical locations that makes him feel at ease. He'd probably like Sauria.
