Hear me out: Azriel’s secret hobby is gardening. He has beautiful gardens at Rosehall that he has designed. The night he was listening to Elain’s plans to expand the garden (pass beyond 3:00 am), he was totally taking notes to steal Elain’s ideas for Rosehall. ;)

This means war!

I wen't out to the garden today to find my Kale, cauliflower and strawberries all chewed up! I am so upset. The Kale was growing beautifully. So, I got on Google looking for some homemade ways to repel critters, I don't have time to plant anything tonight so I will be trying a couple tactics for tonight's attack. #1 Placing dryer sheets around the perimeter of the Garden, the scent is supposed to deter them, other plus, I stopped using them in the dryer on my clothes so now I found a use for the remaining sheets! #2 A mixture of paprika, cayenne pepper, crushed red pepper and black pepper around the plants base. Fingers crossed this helps!!!!

I'm so grateful to live in this beautiful corner of the #World. Cae said she wants to live in Zealandia forever, luckily she kinda already does ...#LoveNZ I feel so much at home amongst those ancient trees and giant waterfalls, and wish that so many more of these places were respected and protected to help the fauna/flora again reach their full flourish! Mother Nature left to her own devices is of course the ultimate winner of #gardenwars! #nature #permaculture #lifegoals
