Gargoyle Days in Another Green World...
Green copies of the Plastic Crimewave 7" dropped in on Friday and we couldn't be more pleased! These will be shipping out next week, so for those of you who pre-ordered these, they'll be to you shortly. That will be the first and last time that we run pre-orders - that mess is silly!

Apteka - Gargoyle Days
This album is the band's debut and came out in 2011. Too bad, I found out about it really late that year. It definitely has to be in the top-releases-of-the-year-list! It has beautiful, psychedelic rock songs with a stunning voice on it.
This record is only available on vinyl or as download and you can stream it online in it's entirety. Go here to do so! It's worth it. And be sure to tell your friends while you're at it. Those guys deserve it.
"Striking Violent" which appears on the Chicago-based quartet Apteka's debut album Gargoyle Days will probably remind you a bit of the Jesus and Mary Chain, filtered through Jane's Addiction, the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and others. I think this track will amp you up for your Monday morning, as well be part of the perfect Halloween soundtrack.
