Encounter 1: The Humble Gargwa

Review: They are just big round feathery orbs. I am a big fan of birds, so I have to say 10/10 borb. I was pretty pleased when I first saw them. I ran around them for a bit before killing them after taking some photos. I love taking photos. I am not the biggest fan of killing them unless I need to. I really like the egg taking minigame. So It's always fun when they drop one in rise. The wire bugs really help when trying to wisk away with one. When I first started the playthrough I was really lucky with getting the golden eggs. Not so much anymore. I have yet to play some of the other games they are in. So my experience is mostly with just them in rise.

Notes:

I am going to slowly post a monster hunter series. I was playing Rise when I decided to start this series keep that in mind. The idea was every monster I encounter in all the games, I will draw them in the order I see them. It'll just mostly be my order of encounter for Rise for the first while.

Now I started to keep my list a little bit after I started. So I do not know if these guys were the exact first creatures I saw. I might have actually seen an Izuchi or Felyne first. Though it at the time I was looking back to try and recall to fill in the missing part of my list of encounters was the first I remembered seeing and the first I had a photo of. I do not care to start another play through this soon just to find out and roughly recreate the start of the game either.

Day 7 of the MH OC Questionaire got childhood days Chidori and Utsushi stuck in my head, and I went all chibi in the end haha.

The much needed Redraw of this small scene. Adding Gargwa were the best decision that i made.
