OKAY so I'm back again and this time I promise I will try to stick around! I'm currently studying Japanese and I quit Chinese! Got a lil bit tired and decided to take a break... There’s none in particular, so pretty much any upbeat song will get me pumped up. I did listen to Stronger by Kelly Clarkson a lot before swim races, though.
oolong: where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years I want to see myself in my senior year of my dream college. Seriously, though, I want to be happy in five years, no matter what college I end up going to.

yo im learning spanish in school and could definitely use some help ok first question muy vs mucho vs mas (pretend there's the accent thing over the a but my keyboard doesn't do that) ?? when do i use them?? pls!! also the rules for using para because i use it all the time and my spanish teacher is pissed @ me thanks m8
Hey! Let me see, muy is an adverb and it usually goes with an adjective (although sometimes it goes with another adverb). It’s used to increase the intensity of the adjective, i.e.: bueno - muy bueno, alto - muy alto. With an adverb it would go like this: despacio - muy despacio. Muy never goes alone. I.e.: ¿Estás cansado? Sí, mucho - Sí, muy cansado.
Mucho is an adjective and it goes with a noun. Since in Spanish nouns have genre, mucho must coincide with the noun’s genre. So we have: mucho, mucha, muchos, muchas. I.e.: Mucha gente, muchas personas, mucho frío, muchos números. Sometimes mucho is placed after a verb, i.e.: Hoy he comido mucho. Él estudia mucho porque quiere sacar buenas notas.
You can NEVER say muy mucho, so if you want to say that something is “more than mucho” you can say muchísimo (muchísimo, muchísima, muchísimos, muchísimas). It works in the same way as mucho, i.e.: hace muchísimo frío, tengo muchísimas ganas de ir de viaje. Check this site to get more examples!
Más it’s an adverb and it has different meanings. 1. It’s used for comparison or to show preference, i.e.: ella es más alta que él. Me gusta más este libro. 2. with the correct determinate article + an adjective it forms the superlative, i.e.: ella es la más guapa de la familia. Tú eres el más listo de la clase. 3. it means “especially”, i.e.: me gusta esta canción y más si la cantas tú. 4. (conjuntion) maths, it means plus, i.e.: dos más dos son cuatro.
Más + other words form different expresions like: de más, por lo más, los/las más, más bien, más que... if you want to know more you can check wordreference and the free dctionary.
And I guess that you mix up por and para ? Por basically indicates a reason and para indicates an aim. It’s kinda complicated to explain it all here but I’ve found three websites that might be helpful: practica español, another entry in practica español and roble (this one looks good, is longer and it has lots of examples!).
