Enjoy tender and flavorful Asian-inspired salmon cooked to perfection in the Instant Pot. This dish is infused with a delicious blend of soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger, creating a mouthwatering meal that is perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients: 4 salmon fillets. 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce. 2 tablespoons honey. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger. 1 tablespoon rice vinegar. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1 tablespoon water. 2 green onions, chopped for garnish. Sesame seeds for garnish.
Instructions: In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, olive oil, and water to create the marinade. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them, making sure they are well coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. After marinating, remove salmon from the marinade and transfer them to the Instant Pot. Add 1 cup of water to the Instant Pot. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 3 minutes. Once the cooking cycle is complete, allow for a natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then do a quick pressure release to release any remaining pressure. Carefully open the lid of the Instant Pot and transfer the salmon fillets to a serving plate. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
