Once, when they were still at the Garrison, Lance really wanted to give Shiro something for Valentine's Day. But he knew he can't let him know that it was him! He made a pretty paper-craft card and baked some muffins (they weren't the best, BUT STILL - of couese he worked on both of these in secret), ans somehow he nanaged to sneak these to Shiro's bag. HE IS STILL IMPRESSED WITH HOW HE DID THAT. And he can't really remember HOW that happened, he was so nervous. But later on that day (1/2)
when Lance wanted to grab something from his locker, he found a pretty bouquet and a cute cat plushie. He had no idea who left these here, because IT’S IMPOSSIBKE THAT SHIRO WOULD BE INTERESTED IN HIM, RIGHT?? //add on to this, pls, they need to know that they gave each other gifts, but I need to go to sleep 😭//
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOOOOOVE IT!!!!!!! LANCE WORKED SO HARD ON THAT BEAUTIFUL CARD!!!!! IT HAD TO BE PERFECT AND READABLE FOR THE MAN OF HIS DREAMS!!! HE IS SUCH A ROMANTIC, SAPPY BOY!!!! HE’S HEAD OVER HEELS!!! I JUST GAAAHHH!! THEY’RE BOTH PINING HARD FOR EACH OTHER AND I AM LIVING!!!!
IMAGINE LANCE BEING CALLED TO THE INSTRUCTORS LOUNGE THINKING HE’S IN TROUBLE, BUT HE HAS NO IDEA SHIRO’S THERE WAITING FOR HIM!!!! AND SO WHEN HE WALKS IN AND SEES SHIRO HE GASPS AND BLUSHES WHILE CLUTCHING THE FRONT OF HIS UNIFORM LIKE A FANBOY ABOUT TO BURST BECAUSE “omg… it’s him, it’s shiro…. WHERE IS EVERYONE ELSE??? WHAT IS HAPPENING???” but before he can speak up Shiro clears his throat and says “Thank you for the gifts, Lance. I love them” and he’s wearing the biggest smile on his face!!!! AND LANCE IS A STUTTERING MESS AND SUDDENLY SHIRO STANDS UP AND LAUGHS BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE LANCE IS HOLDING HIS BREATH!!! AND THE FACT THAT SHIRO IS WALKING TOWARDS HIM AND INVADING HIS SPACE ISN’T HELPING!!!!! LANCE IS SO FLUSTERED AND SHIRO LAUGHS NERVOUSLY BECAUSE LANCE HASN’T SAID A WORD!!!!!
BUT FINALLY LANCE SNAPS BACK TO REALITY AND MANAGES TO BLURT OUT: ‘W-wait, so… d-does that mean that y-you’ re the one who gave me the cat plushie and flowers???” and Shiro nods and continues to smile!!!! AND SHIRO BREAKS THE SILENCE BY ASKING IF HE LIKED HIS GIFTS AND LANCE NODS VIGOROUSLY LIKE “OF COURSE I DID, I JUST CAN’T BELIEVE IT WAS YOU!!!! I THINK I’M ABOUT TO FAINT!!!!” THIS IS THE PERFECT VALENTINES DAY BECAUSE NOT ONLY DID LANCE RECEIVE SUCH AMAZING GIFTS BUT A KISS ON THE CHEEK AS WELL!!!! AND LATER THAT DAY LANCE KISSES SHIRO BACK ON THE LIPS!!!!! AND AT NIGHT THEY SIT OUT AND WATCH THE STARS AND MAYBE SNEAK BACK TO LANCE’S DORM AFTER THAT TO KISS AND CUDDLE!!!!!
