Garcia is a switch because she goes back and forth on being on Trinity's side, encouraging her bratty behavior, to deciding randomly that she needs to put Trinity in her place. It keeps all of them on their toes because Garcia picks when she wants to go from one side to the other. (me looking at garcia's commitment issues and taking it out on her in this way)

Trinity in her Drop only wants a hand or two on her. It's a very vulnerable state for her to be in and she does not want a lot of contact. It stresses her out.
