Also included with Casey was this poor Foot Soldier. Almost feels more like a prop than a figure. Really cool for dioramas, set-ups, and photos, but not much fun to pose solo. Fun fact: this is the only NECA 1987 Foot Soldier I own!

Shredder still looks great with the rest of the TMNT cartoon line, or even the Mirage (knock-off) Turtles if you want to go that route.
Rat King didn’t come alone, however, as his set also included Vernon. Despite how prominent he is in the old cartoon, I didn’t really feel a need for ol’ Vern. Not that I disliked the character, but it just wasn’t the most exciting release.
Despite low expectations, this figure surprised me in just how fun and expressive it can be. The included alternate wererat parts also help add some excitement too.
Admittedly, it does feel weird to have him but to not have an April. Hopefully NECA gets around to redoing her at some point.
