Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent treat.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 2 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/2 cup milk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1 cup boiling water.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth. Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips. Pour the batter into a greased 9x9-inch baking dish. In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar and remaining 1/4 cup of cocoa powder. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the batter in the baking dish. Carefully pour the boiling water over the top of the mixture in the baking dish. Do not stir. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cake is set and a toothpick inserted into the cake portion comes out clean. Serve warm, spooning the cake and pudding into bowls. It will have a gooey, pudding-like layer at the bottom and a cake layer on top. Enjoy your delicious chocolate pudding cake!
