SHELLEY HENNIG as 'Alice' Gatlopp (2022)
Pre-Screener: The Home (2025)
WHAT THE CRITICS ARE SAYING.
"Enthusiastically stupid. I loved it!"--Kyle S
"Relies on hateful and ageist notions of the elderly; confused plot and sluggish pacing leaves much to be desired. 0/5."--Miss H. Course
"More nuanced than Old People (2022), thank Christ for small miracles. Problematic but bearable for the conceit of the thing. 3/5."--Miss L. Course
"I was too high to see that many [redacted] [redacted], man. Why do I do that to myself? Here, have a stick of gum."--Also Kyle S
"Slow burn with an explosive climax, The Home will pay back the time spent. Wobbly story pays off better on a rewatch, if you can stomach the gore twice. My bloodlust is sated."--V. Hunter
"It's like Society, and it's like Midsommar, and it's like Get Out, but, like...in the way where someone said to make it like those specific things, not in any level of actual resemblance. It's mimicry, not adaptation. That having been said, it's a fun ride! I laughed so hard!*"--P. Dolia
"Okay, but remind me what the thing was with the anatomical mannequin just, like, around? Do people just go around keeping homunculi in storage closets? Is that a thing?"--Still Kyle S.
"You know what's a good movie? Gatlopp: It's a Hell of a Game is a good movie. It's on Tubi, you should watch it."--D. Scott
"What have we learned here?"--B. Gideon
"Jesus CHRIST!"--(Patron in Seat 5B)
"Haha. Pete Davidson angy angy boy."--Kyle S. get off the line

My pick for today was the horror comedy Gatlopp
I rated this 7/10! Very fun, funny movie. Good premise, but I almost wish it had been a liiiiiittle bit longer. I looooove Emmy Raver-Lampman, and she was great in this movie, like she usually is! I definitely recommend this for a watch. Sorry this review is short, I’m suuuuper tired and about to go to bed lol.
