this is why we cant have nice things is underrated imo i always see it at/near the bottom of peoples rankings but its super fun! def not subtle at all lyrically but its a banger. i love the siren noises or whatever also the last chorus is nice and reminds me of the rep tour

i have to admit that "this is why we can't have nice things" is definitely at the bottom of my reputation ranking but it's still such a great song. i like that she placed it on the second half of the album because the song is very unfiltered and true taylor
