Hello. I am a sophomore at a university which does not offer architecture as a major. My parents sort of pressured me into this university to pursue a major I do not love. However, I do love architecture and it has been an interest of mine for many years. I built up the courage and I am going to try to transfer to a school that offers architecture as a major. Is it too late though? I am afraid I will be very behind because architecture requires 5 or 6 years for a bachelors degree. Thank you!

I always tell myself it’s never too late to do anything, especially if you love it and have a passion for it. Sometimes we just need time to realise what’s important for ourselves, and when we finally do, time shouldn’t be an excuse for not doing it; rather the reason for pursuing it. If you can imagine yourself 6 years later saying ‘I should have taken it up’ then do what’s right for yourself so that you have no regrets.
