Something else that bothers me about the final problem: Yes, Moriarty was there and everybody was happy and he was so extra and everything, BUT he didn't have anything at all to do with the plot. He only talked to Eurus like once and this was all about her. So why make this big entrance all over London? The "miss me" screens everywhere, so everyone would know, if it actually was just aimed at the Holmes brothers? They only needed a reason to not end Sherlock after S3. And without Moriarty "being back" there would have been no reason to stop Sherlocks plane. They could have made something more about him. But no, he got his 5 minutes to make everybody happy and to bring Sherlock back and that was it.

I don't even watch Sherlock but from your posts today two things are clear. 1) I'm glad that the straights™️ are not getting what they want and 2) I wanna know why the hell they are whining… I thought Sherlock was a Detective show

The JL fans are Blorps on crack. They have said horrible things to the two actress that have been love interest for the men even though one of them was Martin’s real life wife/mother of his kids and they have both talked about how shitty of an experience it was to see her be on the receiving end of the fandom’s abuse. The only reason they aren’t worse than the Blarkes is because they’re not racist…but only because there is no POC woman on the cast that threatens their ship.

JL is an absolutely fetishizing m/m ship that they’ve harassed the cast and the writers about FOR YEARS. They’ve been told in every way possible that this is not a thing. There has never been an instance where it’s been vague. The answer has always been “No”. Sure, when they’ve been denouncing it, there are times that the writers and even the actors have given less than polite answers at cons or interviews about the ship but it is because they’ve ran out of patience. There is only so many times that you can repeat the same thing to a group of crazies without getting testy about it. They were warned. Things were made explicitly clear to them. They weren’t baited, yet today they’re acting like this is the biggest affront to LGBT that ever happened in media. They’re insufferable and I’m so glad they were knocked out of their pedestal, but now a lot of them have gone from full blown “Moffat and Gattis (a gay man!) are homophobic assholes who baited us” tantrum to doubling down and saying “We know what we saw! We’re STILL right! You’re wrong!!!” because clearly it’s not like Moffat and Gattis are the ones who’ve been writing the show.

Fandoms that think they know more about the show than the writers and the actors are such an annoying thing to come across. They now think there’s a secret post finale episode that will air. They still think there’s no way they could be wrong when they’ve been told it isn’t happening over and over and over and over. It’s been reiterated that this is not the show they’re writing and yet today you still have the straight white girls screaming off every rooftop “I WAS QUEERBAITED!”. Shut the fuck up. Honestly. People in the LGBT community have real issues. There are real instances of dangerous baiting that have happened in the least year and here they are trying to make this into something that it isn’t just because the writers didn’t fanservice them. It’s absurd.
