ivy :   what are your muse’s views on marriage ? do they believe it is something strictly for love ,   or an institution rooted in business   &   social benefits ? do they desire or have they desired to be married ?

when sam and max first tossed around the idea of getting married, they were about college age. max lied to himself and thought it was just for tax reasons. really, that's how he saw it for basically everyone.

needless to say romance really bit him in the ass and now he's fully convinced he and sam are the only loving marriage on this godforsaken earth. every time they renew their vows it's like a sucker punch of adoration and he always gets so excited for the part where the guns come out and interrupt everything!!! (second favorite part is switching out who gets which surname.)

every reception is ten times more fun than the boring weddings he'd get dragged to as a kid. plus: no overbearing family!!! just the family he likes!

so taxes are moreso the frosting on their silly union cake.

Truthfully, Amity wasn’t even aware of how much she had been shivering. Sure, she was cold, but she didn’t think she was being obvious about it.

So that’s why, when Luz suddenly wrapped a blanket around her and pulled her close, Amity found herself at a loss for words as her face heated up once more. She still wasn’t totally used to receiving such blatant affection from the other girl, so she was rather easily flustered.

“Oh, yeah, I guess I was pretty cold...” She muttered as she nestled herself against Luz, clearly enjoying being so close to her.

“I guess I’ll just have to stay here until I’m warm, then.”
