Lan sizuhi is canonically an adoptive family to lan zhan and Wei ying, MEANING that their his GUARDIANS, which in terms to them being MARRIED, and taking care of Lan SiZuhi since he was young and him viewing them as something he cherishes most, he called Lan zhan dad (and Wei ying) and called wei ying mom(my), which inturn:

they are his dads and he is their son.

Didn’t have a nice, staged photo for Father’s Day, but most days feel like this picture anyway so this sums everything up pretty nicely. It’s our first official Father’s Day since adopting our kids last August, which is crazy that it’s already almost been a year. But at the same time, it feels like we’ve been a family forever. 12 years ago, a month into us dating and before we were ever even “official”, we were standing in line for a roller coaster at a theme park and we were picking out our future children’s names. It was a little cart before the horse, and the relationship could have gone either way at that point, but kids have always been a part of the conversation. We always knew we wanted to start a family, we just didn’t know what path we wanted to take. Foster care turned out to be the best decision we ever made, challenging us and giving us our three children. We still wonder what we ever did before Allan, Riah, and Anna entered our lives and made us dads. They are, without a doubt, the loves of our life.
