Thoughts? 🤔 Should they both have received gold or was the decision correct? Gail Devers beat Marlene Ottey to #Olympic gold here in Atlanta 1996. Both women ran 10.94 seconds in what was an extremely tight finish. In my opinion, the decision was correct. Some of the camera angles of the race may make you think otherwise, but ultimately (for me) the photo finish clearly shows Devers slightly ahead. Either way, it was still an amazing comeback from Ottey closing down the massive gap Devers had created at the start!
