I relate to this by @gaywin on a personal level because I’ve always loved Lana’s music and associate it with Erwin a lot, because come on that voice full of adoration & feelings about someone you love & admire along with dem sad tunes, it’s like Levi’s feelings about Erwin most of the time. SO I decided to make a compilation of Lana lines that triggered my Erwin feels.

This is totally Levi being proud & amazed af by his commander. Erwin’s voice is liquid gold you don’t tell me otherwise and to Levi he would no doubt forever be THE commander of the SC, hence ‘the crown that would never fall’. The singer’s voice is full of longing as well that’s my jam.

These lines hit me way harder after Erwin confirmed that he often thought that death would be easier. The man was depressed. Levi probably had to find ways to get through to him at times, and this song is perfect at describing this part of their relationship. Too often we see fics where Erwin chose not to reciprocate Levi’s feelings, and they just kept going on as friends & comrades, knowing that in another life things would have been different.
