Nearly a week ago, I was reminded by Facebook that it had been one year since I'd seen the newest Ghostbusters film on screen. ⠀ ⠀ Though I'd admired #KateMcKinnon's comedy chops on SNL prior to the movie, I walked out of the theatre so strongly identifying with #Holtzmann that I couldn't bare not DOING something about it.⠀ ⠀ Holtzmann helped me embrace my queer identity, sharpen my cosplay skills, and have a confident presence in fandom. ⠀ I can't help telling this story now as I sit here and work on costumes for this year's #DragonCon.
