Placed throughout CMC, they highlight various aspects of our recent #UnionTerminal restoration along with #UnionTerminalDecoDetails. This one showcases the steel beneath the stone. It takes a lot of steel to build up a building like this. How much? Over 1,000 steel columns and 7,800 steel beams form the structural frame behind the building's historic stone and brick surfaces. The project team used a 3D model of the structure to properly coordinate locations of all the ducts, piping and wiring through the extensive steel skeleton.
