#Repost @theloud100 with @repostapp. ・・・ No more samples at events, no partaking either. The City of Portland considers these events to be public consumption and sampling to be selling without a license. They will begin enforcement. This could mean a $5,000 fine for either the vendor or event coordinator. This is pretty ugly. These events are not being put on to skirt the laws (remember the buy a $30 sandwich bag and we'll put weed in it cart?). They aren't celebrations of overindulgence. Worst of all, these are all Oregon Companies! Whiskeyfest is this weekend, there will be more vendors there than any cannabis event I've attended, the pours are generous and nearly all of it is produced outside the state. Hurts producers, coordinators, dissuades market entry and affects tourism dollars. Hard to see the win here. 📰:@oregoncannabisassociation 📸: Brenda Rose @stumptowngreen . . . #pdxweed #pdxnow #portland #ommp #oregonweed #portlandoregon #cannabisculture #cannabiscommunity #weedlifestyle #pnw #portland #freetheweed #gbpdx #gbmonthly
