A Regular Good Samaritan {EVENT: Sunbather|@2cops1lego}
Heather found herself lost in the middle of Hive City looking for someone she'd only just met earlier this day. This stranger who'd stumbled across her mozying along while looking for someone, himself...themselves. Heather offered to help the worse-for-wear looking officer find the young girl he'd spoken of for a couple of reasons, the most prominent of which was it was hard to say no to an officer; especially not with how much he'd started reminding her of her father. Unfortunately though, she'd gotten distracted and looked the other way while she was following him. Once she looked back he...they...were gone. She just hoped she found them in one piece.
As things were right now all she had was a wooden knife in place of her good old switchblade. It wasn't quite as comforting to her but it gave her something to grip onto to help calm her nerves as she weaved in and out of the Pariah peppering the streets of Hive City, calling out for her recently missing recent companion when there were no Pariah's within arm's reach of her in case one happened to be offended by her voice; not that she called very loudly. A couple of them looked her way before glancing indifferently back the way they were facing and going back about their business.
It was getting darker out but at least she'd found a flashlight to use. Having been in a similar situation before, she already knew what to go for before she bumped into exactly who she's searching for, now.
"Good Cop? Bad Cop?" Heather called as she saw something move and shined her flashlight in the direction of the movement. The light shone on a single Pariah who hissed and began to wander towards her once it registered what had happened. Heather quickly shut the light off and continued walking as a mildly quicker pace, keeping her head down and holding in a deep breath until it seemed to have lost interest and wandered away.
With a sigh of relief she glanced around the buildings on either side of the street from her, peeking through windows and inside cars. If she didn't find him soon the best she could do was hope he'd found who he was looking for and start worrying about herself. Though, the idea of turning her back on someone who reminded her of Harry left a bad taste in her mouth and made her stomach churn.
"You here?" She called out once more as she peeked inside one of a few unlocked buildings.
