Flammelle wasn’t even sure if he was allowed to point out that the other man was dead. Would a ghost consider that rude… the radio host couldn’t believe that thought had just entered his head. The things this city had done to him now were bizarre and confusing. On a related note, why did a ghost have a crocodile with him? Was it meant to be some kind of pet? …Why did a ghost have a pet? For the tall man’s own sanity, he was just gonna dismiss these thoughts for now and continue with the conversation. Also having to stop himself from extending a hand out of course because… well wouldn’t you be curious to see if your hand went through? Luckily he wasn’t going to do such a rude thing.
“Well, what instrument did you play? This is a banjo after all and can be a little different. Also, sorry if this is rude but… you’re a ghost, right?”
He finally decided to just point it out, seeing as it was the elephant in the room. Plus, he had to make sure that the ghost could actually use a banjo if he was going to be taught anything.
If the radio host ever made music, he’d want a little more variety in it than just the same three chords.
As if he hadn't noticed the weird looks he was getting for being a ghost with a pet crocodile, he beamed excitedly and nodded his head. He was so relieved that at least he could find other musicians here! He'd almost completely forgotten about Spencer not being there.
"I play a lot of instruments, a couple of which are like the banjo! I'm sure there's nothing to it!"
Billy waved his hand dismissively and shrugged at the question. It didn't really bother him to be asked such a question. "Yeah! Pretty cool, huh!"
