“Did...did you just come from a comic convention or something?” She should be more concerned with the fact that there’s a man (a potential specimen for Void, that is) near the mansion, but his outfit catches her off-guard.

{❀} “My mother and father have arranged a MARRIAGE for me.” Sigyn murmured, keeping her delicate hands tucked into the sleeves of her gown, eyes steady in front of her. “His name is Theoric, a member of your father’s Crimson Hawks. He is...kind. I suppose.”

It was hard for her to keep the waver from her voice,  and the obvious fear and discomfort, especially in the presence of whom she considered to be her best (and admittedly ONLY) friend on Asgard. “Odin seems to think the match is perfect, so we’ll be moving ahead with the wedding as soon as my father can agree to the dowry.” A shaky sigh escaped her lips, as she stopped walking in the center of the hallway.

“As I am...PROMISED to him, I have a duty and vow to keep. And...he has mentioned that you and I can no longer be friends, Loki.” Sigyn finally admitted, turning big blue eyes up to his face, squirming her toes in her satin slippers. She tried to smile, blinking rapidly to keep the tears from falling down her face.

“But it will all be well! I...I suppose I could not dream of a better match. And you and the Queen Mother have taught me so much magic...I...Everything will be fine!” Even if she sounded like she very much didn’t believe it.

“Need any help over there?” Not to say that the other was in trouble - but when The Doctor noticed the Cyberman confronting an almost- Asgardian dressed man who had a liking to emerald? He was pretty curious to see what would happen.

“No, I do not need help. I am a damned vampire; a dominating creature of the night, the ultimate predator to humans, a creature whose legend has sparked hysteria and-.. Ugh!” Her fingers finally slipped from the rusted handles of the chest she was trying to open and she stumbled backwards, nearly loosing her footing in the process. “What is that thing made of!?” Gemina huffed in agitation. The chest itself was made of wood and metal, but it had rusted and sealed shut over the decades that it had been exposed to flooding and age. She looked over at Loki with anger burning in her features before rapidly gesturing towards the stubborn chest.

“Be my guest.”
