There was this one time where I was talking to a friend of mine about a book I was reading, and discussing plot and characters and as a joke I said ‘WHAT IF SO-AND-SO IS ACTUALLY SO-AND-SO?” And my friend just gave me this look because she’d already read it and apparently I was actually correct and that was the moment when I spoiled a book for myself.
