So i didn't realize that James' clones in SH2 laying dead all over the place may possibly imply that he's stuck in a loop in the town.
....holy shit, yeah! yeah, yeah, i can totally see that! :O fuck, that could be a reason why the corpses would wear his clothes. just past versions of himself that have failed in realizing what he has done or some reckless decision that got himself killed
the concept of full circle only appears as an ending in later games, but to see that implied in the actual game? that’s fucking awesome!!
