Nidhogg and Nika Possible Friendship

Jarul said that the warrior god fought against Nika, but that doesn't necessary mean they were enemies.

When Loki is in his dragon form, Ratatoskr is right next to Luffy, who's resembling Nika in his Gear 5 form, and seems happy alongside him.

If they were enemies, I would imagine that there would have been some animosity from his part, but nothing.

Plus Ratatoskr pats Luffy when he's scolded by Nami.

Personally, I can see Nidhogg and Nika having had a friendly rivalry akin to Roger and Whitebeard, fighting but with no harsh feeling on either side.

So when Ratatoskr saw Luffy in Gear 5, it was like seeing an old friend, one who he hasn't seen in over 800 years, possibly more if Ragnir wasn't used by anyone during the Void Century.

Plus, Imu called both of their names, and the two possibilities in my head right now is that either they were both his enemies or Nidhogg was an ally who had a heal turn near the end.

Not too mention that Jarul said that when the 'vast beast' comes, the sun god will rise. It's kept vague on whether it means Nika come to fight Nidhogg, or if they would join forces.

Hopefully the latter.

One Piece Spoilers for Episode 1144: The Worst Nightmare

I knew something wasn't right about Luffy's Nika form. While animation is sick as a hell and doesn't concretely prove anything I've just felt since we first saw it that something about G5 was off. LOOK AT THIS

Is this Luffy? Is something this spooky ever been something Luffy has attempted to be? Powerful, sure, but devilish? Not really. These two photos are so different, they seem like different people. And yet Luffy continues to smile regardless.

I've been kicking around the idea of Nika as an entity is possibly influencing Luffy in some sort of way. Not that Nika is possessing Luffy but in this form it seems like there are moments in which Luffy isn't fully himself. The Drums of Liberation seen at the end of Wano felt very much like Luffy, but the devilish animation sequence does not. Sometimes while in G5 it seems like Luffy's expressions are more mischievous in a sinister way. I don't think Luffy has lost himself, but it's a seriousness that blends into this unfettered joy that he seems to have that is very unnerving. I still don't have a real theory about whats going on and it could be nothing at all, but it feels like something is happening here.
