A conversation I had with Masahiro Ito today revealed that the upcoming Red Pyramid Thing Statue from Gecco which includes the spear will reveal the first concept of what is under his helmet. The spear will also be much longer than in Silent Hill 2.

New Pics of the Heather Statue's Not So Impressive
Historical Society has been posting the progress of the Heather statue from Gecco Corp. and it seems the statues quality has been changing quite a bit, unfortunately lowering in quality. The original Master of the statue shown at Comic-Con 2013 looked amazing specifically in the paint work. Toymunkey told me before Comic-Con that the statue featured an unparallelled paint application using a tampo printing machine, an application that has never been done in production paint, and a dynamic skin texture. The final product above seems to not feature such application. The final statue has the freckles and red eyes but doesn't seem to have the depth or realistic texture that the original offered. There also is no gloss to the eyes and lips like the original had. The paint job on the watch and shadowing in her hair have downgraded in detail as well.
The sculpt's shape seems to have not been hindered aside from her face structure just the paint job for the most part, which from what Shin Tanabe, the sculptor for the Bubble Head Nurse and Heather statues, has said about the change in the paint job it sounds like the Chinese factory isn't able to mimic the same high quality paint work used in the original Comic-Con display. So while i'm disappointed in how the final statue has turned out, I am however glad to see that she comes with an interchangeable gun, steel pipe and the famous saber beam! Also the last photo shown above is the final box art for the statue created by Team Silents original creature designer and art director Masahiro Ito! Both the Heather statue and Robbie statues are Japanese exclusives, but Gecco is working to get a distributor for European and American continents. Because of this I will unfortunately not be getting a review copy at this present time to see if the statue is impressive in person. I will be sure to post any review articles that come up.
