I came. I saw. I did not conquer all the weights. . . I could have sugar coated and posted the deadlift sets of 6 I did get in before my lower back and hips decided it was a wrap and make it seem all nice and dandy but that’s not the case. The truth is after my last meet and the wedding I let myself go a bit and took a gym break... so naturally getting back into this intense program, shedding some (love) fat and getting my mechanics back in order won’t be completely #instagrammable. The takeaway is I showed up and did more than I thought I could and after 5 years I am finally getting the balance of pushing my body past comfort and knowing when to chill out.
