Spoilers for future JoJo but
There is in fact a stand called Hey Ya! and it's the coolest!
i heard its a part 7 stand, im only about halfway thru sbr tho
As feedback, the demo was really fun! Played with a friend watching and we both had a blast! Dialog is really funny, music was 10/10, animations on minigames and the trashcan death grip were amazing! The Thing that happens when you listen to the album caught us completely off guard and was absolutely insane, the stages were dope!! That one sign in the sign room is really creepy I love it. I sometimes had a hard time picking stuff up and kinda had to mash the pickup button while moving (on windows 10, keyboard (I played yesterday so if it's fixed in today's update ignore me)). The amount of things you can do was kinda overwhelming!! Do all items have an use in the demo? (mostly curious about the ball and drink) and do most npcs have quests??
I found out right before the Thing when interacting with a bookshelf that not all items you can interact with to get a description have an icon above them, is that intended?
Once again really fun demo can't wait to buy the full thing. Came here for the music stayed for the weird ass game. Replaceable Parts slaps as much in game as it did when I first heard it!
Oooooh yay!!! I'm so super glad you enjoyed it. Thank-you for the ask! In terms of picking things up, I've seen some people say that they find it frustrating or confusing that you can't pick things up while moving, so maybe that's what you're experiencing? I want to re-evaluate a lot of my basic interaction parameters once I start work on the rest of the game so I'll definitely be tweaking things a bit. There aren't too many "side quests" in the demo, but most items have a use! ("use" in this case meaning can cause a specific unique interaction, not all of them are puzzle solutions.) The basketball is really the only noticeable object that doesn't have one. I originally intended to include a basketball hoop to teach people that you can throw things across gaps, but that wound up being a mechanic I didn't utilize in the demo so I didn't want to confuse people. I kept the basketball because I think it's funny when it bounces. I did hide a few interactions by not including alert bubbles! Mainly because I want some things to be less common for people to see, especially foreshadow-y things. Anything necessary to play is always signposted with a bubble but I like to leave extra flavor hidden in plain sight for people that like to explore. Thank-you for describing my game as "weird ass", genuinely love to hear it! LOL. It couldn't be more accurate.
So Electrodominance can cheat on the timing of spells, but can it cheat the timing on something like Necrologia?
No, it can't.There is a difference between breaking a rule and directly contradicting a restriction put in place by another another card. You can do the first, because going beyond the rules is how most cards do anything at all, but you can't do the second. When two cards directly contradict one another, the card that says you can't do the thing will win. Necrologia can only ever be cast in your end step. You're not allowed to cast it by any means in any other step, phase, or turn.

blab about video games as a moral medium please!
Woah I asked to be reminded of something and someone actually reminded me! Sweet. ^ w ^ I just generally take umbrage with the ways people overstate the novelty of games being able to "place the viewer within a story" and "react to the viewers' choices/input." There's obviously a truth to that novelty in a very literal, pedantic sense, but none of the gestures that it allows are truly new or unique to games. I think there are plenty of well told (non game) stories that present a moral dilemma through means that inspire direct empathy rather than "taking an unaffected role as a detached observer", and on the other hand plenty of people's experiences w/ games DO end up as kind of a detached observer because gaming culture actively seems to prefer that position.
On one hand a massive strength of games is their accessibility in this way - I think a big part of the reason YA games focus so much on ludonarrative/meta storytelling is because it's an avenue into questions about art that many people don't have the luxury of discovering in other mediums with greater required reading. For people growing up with an interest in art it's a very powerful thing to discover, but people were discovering this in their personal journeys since long before video games.
I'm not saying video games aren't particularly strong at this, but they also tend to find friction with sticking the landing because games are expected to be toys first and foremost.
Like yeah "Gamers" are kind of the worst, yeah - but that's partly because the industry of video games has been sandboxed in the toy market for decades before finally opening up to hobbyists and small artists. The language that defined how we interact with games, what they are, and what we expect our experiences with them to be (in order to justify it as a Purchase) evolved to compliment their role in the market above all else. All this to say I think video games being such a common commodity is kind of a complicated double edged sword! It's weird idk.
What happens if you exchange control of Dualcaster Mage while its ETB trigger is already on the stack?
Nothing special.
Dualcaster Mage’s trigger exists independently of Dualcaster Mage itself, so losing control of the Mage won’t also make you lose control of the trigger or vice versa.
TL;DR: Whoever controlled Dualcaster Mage when it entered the battlefield will control its trigger.
