Still pondering if when prof just dropped "in media res" in as if everybody knows exactly what that means, if everybody really did know what it means...

See I have no normal-person reference for this cuz I learned 4th declension like 1 semester before Film Studies & I cannot remember which I heard it first in 😅

I also can't get a real pulse on these people in class. Surely at least some of us were already Greek nerds, but... (*sigh* See, my patience is getting better!) This one guy said his favorite character in the Illiad was "the one who died" & we all just... were verrry patient with the gentle laughing-with-you reply of "A lot of people died." 😅 (He meant Achilles.)
