Short review: IT: CHAPTER TWO delivers just the good amount of thrills and scares but it cannot live up to its predecessor. The film has great performances from everyone but having standouts such as Bill Hader and James Ransome as Richie and Eddie respectively. Muschietti also proves how much a master of horror he is by including two original scenes including Pennywise which will leave audiences disturbed and fascinated. While the films drags just a bit too long and drops many of the practical effects from the first movie to use medium quality CGI, the film still manages to give the right emotions in each scene. Pennywise keeps on being a horror icon and even if he looses a bit of his mystique while he appears in broad daylight, it proves that the character design is so good that it manages to be creepy outside of the darkness. The ending is both heartbreaking and satisfying. It: Chapter Two may not live to the big expectations the first movie left, but it's a great closure to out Losers story. - Marv Castillo.
